Manchester United has injury problems, with Jonny Evans and Danny Welbeck both in the treatment room and joining Paul Pogba, Anderson, Nemanja Vidic and Darren Fletcher on the sidelines.

Chicharito should start up front in place of Welbeck, whilst Antonio Valencia could also return to the starting XI after only featuring as a substitute against Manchester City.

Elsewhere, goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard is also available after injury and should make the bench.

Swansea City also has its own injury worries and will be without Kemy Agustien, Ferrie Bodde and Andrea Orlandi for the trip to Old Trafford.

Defender Angel Rangel is a doubt with a hamstring problem, but is expected to be fit, and Brendan Rogers will be hoping Leon Britton can shrug off a knee problem, while Alan Tate has recovered from a calf injury.

DID YOU KNOW :

  • Manchester United’s defeat to neighbor City on Monday saw the champion fail to register a shot on target in a game for the first time in almost three years.
  • The champion's 1-0 victory at Swansea back in November saw the Red Devils become the first visiting club to win at the Liberty Stadium in the Premier League this season.
  • Manchester United has won just once in its last four games (against Aston Villa), in a run that has seen it pick up just four points from a possible 12 available.
  • Wayne Rooney (pictured right) has scored as many Premier League goals this season (26) as the entire Swansea team have managed at home in the league.
  • Rooney will make his 250th Premier League appearance on Sunday; he has scored 198 career goals.
  • Swansea City has lost 10 games away from home this season. In the Premier League only QPR and Bolton have lost more.
  • The Swans have never won at Old Trafford. In eight attempts they have lost six and drawn twice.
  • Striker Danny Graham has scored more goals this season (13) than both Chicharito (12) and Danny Welbeck (12).
  • Brendan Rodgers’ side is on a poor run, having won just once in its last seven games (at home against struggling Blackburn).
  • Last time out it squandered a 3-0 lead to draw 4-4 with Wolves. Some consolation for the Swans came in the shape of Andrea Orlandi's goal which, after 22 seconds, became the quickest in the Premier League this season.

Robin van Persie returns to his old stomping ground for the first time having fired the Red Devils to their 20th title while the Gunners remain in the hunt for a top-four finishArsene Wenger could be without Mikel Arteta (ankle) after he picked up an injury against Fulham last time out.

The Spaniard's injury means Wilshere is likely to sit alongside Aaron Ramsey in midfield, with Tomas Rosicky playing in the free role behind the striker and Santi Cazorla shifting to a wide left position.

Olivier Giroud faces a three-match ban for his red card in that game meaning either Theo Walcott, Gervinho or Lukas Podolski will lead the line for the Gunners.

Sir Alex Ferguson is likely to rotate his squad after sealing the title against Aston Villa on Monday night.

After Jonny Evans picked up a knock in that win, Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic - who missed the title-clinching tie - are both set to return to the side with Phil Jones perhaps deployed in midfield.

Michael Carrick is also likely to be rested after playing through injury against Villa. Expect the likes of Danny Welbeck, Chicharito, Tom Cleverley and Nani to feature from the start.

DID YOU KNOW ?
  • Arsenal has kept just four clean sheets in its last 16 Premier League games at the Emirates Stadium.
  • Only the Gunners (18) have scored more goals in the final 15 minutes of matches than Manchester United (15).
  • Arsenal has taken only four points from seven games against the other sides in the top five this season, every other member has at least 10.
  • Despite having the best away defense (14 goals conceded), 12 teams have a better home defensive record than the 21 goals shipped by the Gunners at the Emirates.
  • Manchester United is the first team to be crowned champions with four games remaining since Arsenal in 2003-04.
  • Robin van Persie (pictured right) has scored 17 goals in his last 17 Premier League appearances at the Emirates.
  • The Dutchman has scored in each of his last three appearances where Arsenal have played against Man Utd, twice for the Gunners and last time out for the Red Devils.
  • Wayne Rooney scored his first Premier League goal, his first in the league for Man Utd and his 100th Premier League goal all against Arsenal.

Sir Alex Ferguson may look to reshuffle his pack slightly ahead of the visit of Aston Villa.

Jonny Evans may come in for either Rio Ferdinand or Nemanja Vidic, who have now played two games in a row. Vidic could be the one to miss out, after Sir Alex revealed he suffered bruising against West Ham.

The likes of Tom Cleverley, Ryan Giggs and Nani are all pushing for recalls in midfield. Paul Scholes (knee) remains out, while Ashley Young (ankle) is out for the season, so will miss the visit of his former team.

For the visitors, Paul Lambert may look to name an unchanged side from the one that has impressed against Stoke and Fulham in recent weeks.

Ciaran Clark is available but Nathan Baker may still be preferred in central defence. Senior striker Gabriel Agbonlahor may recover from a thigh injury to take his place in attack, with Jordan Browery dropping to the bench.

DID YOU KNOW ?
  • Manchester United have only lost one of their last 40 meetings with Aston Villa in all competitions.
  • Villa's only victory during that run in December 2009 under Martin O'Neill was when Gabriel Agbonlahor (pictured right) scored in a 1-0 win at Old Trafford.
  • From that matchday squad, only Agbonlahor, Richard Dunne and Brad Guzan remain at the club.
  • United, on the other hand still retain eight of their starting XI.
  • Only Arsenal have scored more goals (42) than United have scored (40) at home this season.
  • Villa have the joint-worst defensive record in the league, conceding 35 along with Norwich and Newcastle.
  • Christian Benteke needs one more goal to become the first Aston Villa player since Juan Pablo Angel in 2003-04 to score 20 goals in a season.
  • Wayne Rooney has scored twice in each of Aston Villa's last two visits to Old Trafford.

PREDICTION :
The visitors do look capable of causing United problems in defence, particularly with the pace and power of Benteke, Gabriel Agbonlahor, Andreas Weimann and Charles N'Zogbia. However, at the back they can still be rather naive and the extra nous and quality of Van Persie and Rooney will ensure the Red Devils will still come away with a comfortable victory.

MAN UTD 3-1 ASTON VILLA - EDITORS PREDICTION

There are grumblings in Stoke with much being made of the squad manager Tony Pulis has assembled, but with the club hovering just three places above the trapdoor and with champions elect Manchester United bound for the Potteries there is no time to for internal arguments.

United, on the other hand, will be stinging from a derby loss to City and will be keen to restart their run of wins and wrap up the title as soon as possible. They may be doing so without Ashley Young, but a near full-strength Stoke will not worry them.

Sir Alex Ferguson is still without Darren Fletcher, who is out for the season, but full back Rafael is expected to return from a groin injury.

However, there could still be a place for Phil Jones or Chris Smalling at right back, though the experienced pairing of Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic are expected to start at center back.

Up front, Ferguson's wealth of options means Chicharito, Danny Welbeck or Shinji Kagawa could be in contention to start ahead of Wayne Rooney or Robin van Persie.

The visitors, meanwhile, are still without injured full back Maicon (knee) but could welcome Micah Richards (knee) and Jack Rodwell (hamstring) back in time for Monday's clash.

Out-of-favor defender Joleon Lescott is likely to continue on the bench for Roberto Mancini's men, though City's top scorer in the Premier League, Edin Dzeko, could be in contention for a starting place.

DID YOU KNOW ?
  • Manchester United is on course for a record 21st domestic title. City pipped the Red Devils to the post last year, winning its first title in 44 years, but United now looks set to regain the trophy with a 15-point lead.
  • The Red Devils can do the double over City with victory on Monday after a 3-2 win at the Etihad Stadium earlier in the season.
  • Robin van Persie (pictured right) is Manchester United's top scorer with 23 goals in all competitions this season, but he has not netted in his last nine games for the club.
  • Sir Alex Ferguson's men have not finished outside of the top three since 1991. They have also finished at least second in their last eight consecutive league campaigns.
  • Manchester City has won its last seven games in all competitions and is unbeaten in 14 matches -- a run that has lasted since Boxing Day, when it lost 1-0 at Sunderland.
  • City has scored 15 fewer goals than United this season, subsequently making its goal difference weaker than that of its cross-city rivals by 10.
  • Away form has been the biggest problem for Mancini's men, with City suffering three defeats and five draws on the road. In stark contrast, the Premier League champions have only lost once and drawn three times at the Etihad, amassing 11 wins.
  • Manchester City has beaten the Red Devils 16 times at Old Trafford in the teams' history, though it has lost to United 36 times at the same ground.

OUR PREDICTION : Man Utd 2-1 Man City

Juan Mata, Eden Hazard, Ashley Cole, David Luiz, Ramires and Demba Ba should all return to Rafa Benitez's starting line-up after missing Chelsea's league defeat at Southampton on Saturday.

The Chelsea boss could make around six changes to his side ahead of a run of five games in the next 13 days.

Gary Cahill (knee) is a doubt so John Terry is likely to continue in defence alongside Luiz. With Ba cup-tied for the Blues in the Europa League, the Senegalese should be handed a start on Monday. Mata should return to the side after missing the match at St Mary's with illness.

Sir Alex Ferguson is also likely to make several changes to his side after rotating the team in the weekend win at Sunderland.

Phil Jones could return to the side at right-back after Rafael (groin) was forced off at the weekend. Tom Cleverley and Ryan Giggs are also likely to feature after sitting out Saturday's match.

In attack, Danny Welbeck and Chicharito will hope for a starting berth with Nani also ready to come in. Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young and Robin van Persie should drop to the bench.

DID YOU KNOW :
  • Chelsea defender Ashley Cole has won the FA Cup more times than any other player, lifting the famous trophy an astonishing seven times.
  • Juan Mata recently became the first Premier League player to score 10 goals and provide 10 assists.
  • Manchester United striker Chicharito (pictured right) enjoys playing against Chelsea, the Mexican striker has struck in five of his last seven games against the Blues in all competitions.
  • No player in the top flight has hit the woodwork more than Van Persie this season. The Dutchman has been denied by a post or the crossbar seven times.
  • Left-back Patrice Evra has played more minutes (2,430) than any other United player in the league this season.
  • Eighteen goals have been scored in the three meetings between the sides this season.

OUR PREDICTION :
After losing to Southampton at the weekend, the Chelsea fans will let Rafa Benitez know how they feel about him at Stamford Bridge and that poisonous atmosphere might work against the Blues. Manchester United also made a number of changes at the weekend, so they should be able to match the energy levels of their opponents. After surrendering a two-goal lead in the original tie, don't expect the Red Devils to make a similar mistake again.
Our prediction : Chelsea 1-2 Man Utd

Sunderland trust Sir Alex Ferguson will field a weakened side for a fixture scheduled only 48 hours before United's FA Cup quarter-final replay against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Martin O'Neill's problem is that they are adept at coping well with heavy rotation. Even so, Ferguson's preoccupation with besting Rafael Benítez on Easter Monday means this is a less bad than usual time to meet the league leaders. After no wins in seven games relegation fears are mounting on Wearside but a point today could alter the mood dramatically.

Team News
Nemanja Vidic and Robin Van Persie will be itching to return to the starting line up. Van Persie, in particular, will be looking to recapture the goal scoring form that has propelled him to near legend status in his debut season at the Theatre of Dreams after not scoring for a little while. Rio Ferdinand, considering his international future according to Ferguson, could be rested as part of his ongoing management programme. Rafael will hope to play and exorcise any demons that may still haunt him from the return fixture earlier in the season where he was torn a new one by McAnuff before being substituted. Cleverley and/or Carrick could be rested with Giggs and Anderson waiting in the wings. Nani is a major doubt with a hamstring injury whilst Scholes and Jones are definite non-starters.
Reading will arrive at Old Trafford bereft of the first and second choice ‘keeper so Stuart Taylor will continue to deputise. Federici and Kebe remain injured as does BBC favourite Jason Roberts. Pogrebnyak completes a three match ban ensuring that caretaker manager, Eamonn Dolan, has plenty to think about in terms of team selection.

Match Preview
Why Reading has made the decision to sack their manager so late in the season is beyond me and is probably beyond any reasonable and logical football fan. McDermott had done a fantastic job with Reading and the fact that a club on their budget is still fighting for their place in the league and not yet condemned to the drop is, in large, credit to their former manager. They’ve been on a poor run of form of late, seeing them lose two huge games at home. However, what chance does a new manager have in changing their fortunes in such a short space of time? What chance, in fact, does the club have of attracting anyone to the club now?
United will be looking for their twelfth league win on the bounce and will be hopeful of turning around a week, in their eyes, of horror. The Real Madrid and Chelsea fixtures derailed a run of form and momentum but this home fixture offers United the chance to get back on the horse and ride off into the sunset. Ferguson’s team selection will be very interesting as he was quick to concede Cleverley and Carrick were exhausted against Chelsea yet he failed to address this in selection or substitutions.

Match Facts
• Reading’s last league fixture at Old Trafford was a 0-0 draw in the 2007/08 campaign.
• Van Persie will be looking to avoid going five consecutive starts without scoring for the first time in over six years.
• Reading have claimed only five points in all away fixtures this season.
• United are unbeaten in their last five fixtures against Reading.

Sir Alex Ferguson is confident Manchester United will bounce back from their Champions League heartache by turfing Chelsea out of the FA Cup.

United have spent the last few days licking their wounds after the shattering disappointed of European failure.

Ferguson is still furious at the manner of his side's defeat, and the controversial decision to send Nani off, which changed the entire course of a game he felt United were comfortable in.

But he knows life goes on. And for the Red Devils that means a meeting with Chelsea, against whom they have already had two titanic contests this season.

"We have a job to do on Sunday and I think we'll do that okay," said Ferguson.

"We've gone through this procedure many times.

"When you're at a club for a long time there are always damp moments and dark days.

"In general we recover very well and we'll do that again."

Ryan Giggs will sit out following his outstanding performance against Real, so his wide berth is likely to go to Antonio Valencia or Ashley Young.

Phil Jones (ankle) and Paul Scholes (knee) are definitely out, while the main focus will be on whether Wayne Rooney gets a start after being left on the bench against Madrid.

Chelsea captain John Terry and striker Fernando Torres could make way as Rafael Benitez again rotates his squad.

Terry and Torres played in Thursday night's Europa League loss at Steaua Bucharest.

Demba Ba, Victor Moses and Ramires return to the squad after missing the trip to Romania.

Benitez is pleased to have a swift change of focus with a key fixture against fierce rivals.

"It's a positive. It's good and it's a challenge for us," he said.

"In terms of the focus of the players, it's good. We have an opportunity very quickly to change things.

"It's a good competition, a very exciting competition and Chelsea, as a club and as a team, have been doing really well.

"Hopefully we can carry on doing well after this game. That means that we will be through."

Jose Mourinho has first-choice goalkeeper Iker Casillas back in his squad for the game at Old Trafford for the first time since January 23, but it remains unlikely that the Spain international will feature.

Marcelo is also back in contention after recovering from injury and will push Fabio Coentrao for a place at left-back.

The Real Madrid boss rested plenty of key players in the win over Barcelona at the weekend. Alvaro Arbeloa, Sami Khedira, Angel Di Maria, Mesut Ozil and Cristiano Ronaldo will all return to the starting line-up.

Phil Jones (ankle), who impressed in the first leg, is a doubt to feature on Tuesday, though Tom Cleverley is expected to come in for the Red Devils in midfield.

However, Rio Ferdinand is expected to return to the side after missing the win over Norwich at the weekend with illness.

Jonny Evans is likely to once again partner the Englishman in defence, with Nemanja Vidic who played at the weekend, missing out.
